OK - you would have had a Social Worker attached to Adoption and Fostering!. Get in touch with Social Services so they can dig out your records!. They will help you and possibly counsell you about finding out more!. Good Luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm in a similar situation to you!. I was adopted at 11 months old!. I was left a letter from social services about my biological mother and 2 sisters!. I have recently found one of my sisters on facebook but have to resist the temptation to make contact!. The reason behind this is because i would find it very selfish of myself to do so!. My biological sister may not know i exist and could cause complications, even worse if you are rejected how can you deal with that!. It is an emotional strain!. You can contact your local social services and they can arrange this and prepare you for any emotioal instances good or bad!. I plan to do this soon just got to get the guts to do so!. Social networks are great to get photos and find out how they are doing but to make contact stick to the services available and avoid emotional trauma!. Good luck, email me if you want to talk it would be great to share ideas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you know your parents names!?!?!?!?

Go to the social services in your local town they will be able to point you in the right direction there is a service int he UK which they could point you to which helps you track down your real parents, usually through letter at first as they need to make sure that your parents are in a position where they want to contact you also!.

One of my friends tracked their parents down through face book believe it or not!.
But def get in touch with child and family social services they have all the info which you will need!.
Good luck, I hope it all works out for you xWww@QuestionHome@Com

Obtain a copy of your original birth certificate!.
Your parents names will be on it!.

Social service agencies will not give you the names of parents and/or siblings, due to privacy laws, without a court order!.
