Why do i have dark skin and red hair?

Question: Why do i have dark skin and red hair!?

Ok so i have an older brother and he has red hair and is light skinned!. I am dark skinned and have some red hair comming in its strange!. am i going to grow all sorts of red hair!? that would be weird!. I need some expert advice!.
If it help i am mexican!.

It's just your genes!.

It just takes one dark haired person or just one red haired person in your family to do this!.

Your DNA and genes!.!.!.no one can ever tell how the baby will turn out, because it's so random!.

If the first people on the earth, the boy and girl both had brown hair & blue eyes then their kid would have brown hair and blue eyes because there is simply no other option!.
but when people get married and they have different eye colors and hair colors and people in THEIR families have different eye colors & hair colors then their kid has so many more different combinations of how it would turn out!.
some traits are dominant and some are recessive!. i'm not sure whether dark skin is dominant or not, as well as with red hair!.

but nonetheless, it SOUNDS rare, when you say red, how red!? redd-ish brown or red-red!?

Hair can trace back a long ways!. My mother is black and she was born with red hair and freckles!. My brother, also black, was born with red hair!. It is odd how past generations can affect those of the future!. Just feel blessed that you have hair, and don't worry as much, or you may lose it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your father could have been from that hotbed of redheads: Scotland, England or Ireland!. Or he could be an American with that ancestry!.
