Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The trees on Ancestry mostly have James Ebenezer Thomas b!. 1853, which isn't correct!. A couple have James M Thomas b!. 1843!. Each have his parents as Matthew Greene Thomas and Molcy Williams!. They have Matthew's parents as Jacob Thomas b!. 1784 and Elizabeth Edwards b!. 1788!. Elizabeth Edwards parents are listed as John Edwards b!. 1757 and Sarah O'Neal b!. 1757!. Molcy Williams parents are listed as William Williams b!. 1774 and Lydia Bivens b!. 1773!. also, Margaret's last name is Allen!. See below!. Her and James lived with her Aunt Mahalia!. Tracking Mahalia and Margaret together, it shows Margaret as an Allen!. It's hard to tell the relationship to James Dunn but looks like her parents died by 1850 or couldn't raise them!. She has a sister named Louisa!. On the top of this same page is Louisa Allen 5, George D 3 and Joshua Jr 4/12 months!. There's no adults!. But in 1860 it looks like these 3 children are attached to Joshua and Caroline Allen with additional children of Julia and Virginia!. There's quite a few Allens in Anson Co, NC, Burnsville!.
