Question: Are my cousins cousins my cousins!?
My cousins have cousins, and I want to know if they are my cousins also!. Does it make a difference that they are on my aunts side (she married my biological uncle), and that they are divorced!? I really want to know!. Thank you!

also, does it depend on the culture!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are not related!. To be related to someone, you MUST have an ancestor in common!. You do not share a common ancestor with them!. Genealogical relationships are those that a blood-bound, permanent, and are not created or changed by marriage or divorce!. Your aunt would no longer even be your aunt if she divorces your uncle!. Even in marriage, her family is NOT your family too!. Your only blood connection to her is her kids she has with your uncle!. Any relatives those kids have on her side of the family are not your relatives!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They wouldn't be your cousins if they are related by marriage!. I have a chart on how to figure out relationships if you want it!. I can email it to you!.
