Question: Does anyone know where the Eneis family came from!?

I have hit a brick-wall!. I cannot find any info anywhere on my mothers family!. The Eneis name seems to be a really rare name!. Anyone with any info on this name please let me know!. I have hit a brick wall on this one!. Thanks in advance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Historically it comes from an area once known as Brabant!. It includes parts of the Netherlands, France and Belgium today!. I looked through Immigration records and found the name in Marne, France, the Netherlands and Ireland!. The Irish name might also be a misreading of Ennis by the transcriber!. If you can find the name of the immigrant ancestor who bought the name over, we should be able to help you locate records on him or her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
