Question: HELP!!! If I was to find a relative on ancestry!.com that lived in the US, can I then live in the US!?
If I was to find a relative that lives in the US on ancestry!.com that I knew nothing about, would they be able to sign a petition for me to come to the US!?
What type of family do they have to be for me to be able to live there with them in the US!?
Do they have to be family that I know or immediate family!? Who can apply for that petition!?
I've tried all other options!. applying for the Diversity Lottery or finding family are my only real option and they're both very slim!.

Just to add the other side, plenty of Americans would kill to live in Australia!. I say, go to the US and try to get a job, the corporation can fast track a work permit for you!. I mean, if you are paying taxes why wouldn't the country want you!? After five years I believe you can take the citizenship test!. Good luck!.

It would have to be a close family member who could sponsor you!. It also has to be something that they WANT to do because it is a serious responsibility!. Go for the student visa or marry an American citizen!. That pushes you to the head of the line!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
