have just discovered my grandfather,ernest pilcher as above was born 1868,yarmouth,isle of wight!.he married a maria johnson and was living in plaistow east london in 1905 when my mother was born!.is it just possible there are any descendants still in the isle of wight!.thankyou for any information!.john!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I found 13 people, over 18, on the Electoral Roll for the Isle of WightWww@QuestionHome@Com

I found 6 people named Pilcher at five addresses on the IOW, my disc is about 6 years old, so whether they are all still at the same addresses I do not know!.

Edit: There are quite a number of Pilchers in Hampshire as a whole !Www@QuestionHome@Com
