Question: How do I get a ca!. 1822 record of birth from Lower Canada!?
According to his discharge papers from the British Army, my great- great-grandfather (McAuliffe) was apparently born in the Parish of Québec, in or near the town of Québec in the Province of Lower Canada in 1822!. Is there any way for me to obtain a record of his birth!? If so, how do I go about doing so!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you have his first name!. The only Lower Canada Mcauliffe in the British Army that I have is in 1839!. His name was John!. Thats when he was discharged!. If is name is not John it gets tricky!. There is a military roll for 1839 of discharged soldiers!. Try
