Scotlandspeople , the Government web site would tell you whether your gran died in Scotland but not necessarily buried in Scotland !. You can get an image / facsimile of the cert !.The site covers from the start of statutory registration up to 1957 for on line copies !. Between 1957 and 2006 you would have to apply to NRH in Edinburgh for a cert copyWww@QuestionHome@Com
