If your friend is registered, he should have access to phone numbers to ask these type of questions!.

A search located information on available Health Services from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma!. Go to: http://www!.choctawnation!.com/Programs/ds!.!.!.

also, an online handbook may answer your question!. Go to: http://www!.choctawnationhealth!.com/doc/h!.!.!. On page 7 it discusses something called Contract Health and that those who qualify must, also, live w/in 8 counties of the clinic!.

So, if your friend does not live near facilities, it does not look like he can go anywhere and just receive "free" services due to his registration status!. In fact the handbook talks of a primary insurance provider!.

A phone call or email to the first cite sited above might give you the answer your friend needs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

All Native medical care benefits that are off the reservation are throught the US Bureau of Indian Affairs!. You need to contact them to find out where the nearest clinic is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
