Question: Do I look Slavic, Germanic, or Jewish!?
I hate to focus attention on myself like this, but I'm curious to the question of my ethnic origins!. On my dads side I am of possible Germanic origins, and on my moms side I am of Polish and Russian Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry!. I don't see very much if any semitic features in my family, instead, mainly eastern European genetic influence!. I know these sorts of questions can seem superficial, but we often wish to know who we are and build that identity!.!.!. Any ideas of me and my family's ethnic ancestry!? Polish!? Russian!? Other possible various Slavic ancestry!? Semetic!? German!?

I would probably guess, eastern European!. You look like you could be from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, or maybe even Ukraine!. I would say you are not northern slavic like Russians, because they are like Scandinavians in look(blonde hair)!. You look like a hybrid like most Americans, I could see you being in really many countries and pulling off their look!. I don't really understand the whole Jewish thing though from responses, maybe they are playing that you have dark features, but many people in Europe do!. You know who a Jew is when you see one; Ben Stein, Liebermann, Shia Labeof(!?), Gilbert Gottfried, ect!. Not to be racist, it is rather true in the semetic people to just have to look(which isn't bad, but just easy to notice)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
These are all stereotypes, but on first glance your expression, especially in the 1st photo, seems very Jewish!. If I had to pick you as Jewish, Polish, Russian, or German, I would certainly pick Jewish!. It isn't necessarily the dark hair or eyes, which certainly exist amongst Russians, Poles, and Germans, but more so the expression!.
Your mother certainly could "look Jewish," but I could also imagine her being Polish, English, Italian, etc!. anything European!. Your father looks Central European to me - could be German, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
