The roster of passengers on the titanic is readily available and it is known who was on the ship!. However, as for the rest of your question, you are going about it all wrong!. Completely backwards!. To do genealogy, you do NOT research people of the past and try to trace them down to you!. You do it the other way around!. You start with yourself and work backwards!. Now, considering the ship sank in 1912, you can figure out which of your ancestors were living at the time as that was barely 100 years ago, and see if any of their names appear on the ship's roster!. Depending on how old you are, it is most likely that your great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents were living at the time!. Anyone before them were likely dead by then, and your grandparents were likely not born yet!. If you are really young (in your 20's or younger) then what I have here is probably off a generation for you, and it would have been your g-g-grandparents and g-g-g-grandparents that were likely alive at the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
