Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Your grandmother's sister is your great aunt, or your grand aunt, whichever term you prefer; they're basically the same!.

Her husband would therefore be your great uncle, or your grand uncle (again, whichever one you prefer, but I would use the same term as you would use for your grandmother's sister!. Eg if you say great aunt, then you should say great uncle)!.

However, if you prefer to say "my great aunt's husband", then that's also correct!. My family tree software tells me that person is "the husband of your great aunt", but it won't tell me he's my great uncle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Grand uncle by marriage or Great uncle by marriage for accuracy!. "Uncle Bill" for politeness!. I prefer granduncle to greatuncle (and aunt) because it puts them in parallel with your grandmother and grandfather, but my personal prejudices are not universal truths,Www@QuestionHome@Com

He would be your Granduncle!. Your Grandmother's sister and her husband are an Uncle and Aunt to your parent!. He can also be called your Great-uncle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
