Why do you need a professional Genealogist!?
Most you can do yourself for free!.
Try your public Library!.
I have mine back to 1700's never paid a dime, except for copies!.!.!. Midwest Genealogy Center now open in Kansas City, is a great resource for research!
also your own public library probably has a genealogy branch or section!.!. check with them they will know!. I have seen people pay and it was proven all wrong later!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've never heard of it but, there are loads of resources on the internet that make searching your family tree yourself possible!. Some are free and some have a membership fee!. Here are a few sites;
