Yes, you can use any website on a Mac, the same as you can on a PC!.

As for "Rootsmagic3", I assume that is software that runs under Windows!. It won't run on your Mac without Parallels (which lets you run Windows under OS X on an Intel Mac) or Boot Camp (which lets you install and boot Windows on your Mac, in which case there is no advantage in buying a Mac!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

A GEDCOM is a text file with keywords in it!. You should be able to export it as family!.ged on Roots Magic and import it on your Mac!. You would be well advised to try it first, though!.

The only Mac genealogy program I know of is called "Reunion"!.

is devoted to it!. You could ask there, or just browse the questions to see if it has already been asked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
