YES! Because virtually no one can fully account for all of their genetic heritage, it is possible to carry a recessive gene for many generations and only have it show very rarely!. For example, there was a case of two african-american people who had a child, and the little boy ended up with pale skin and red hair!. Genetic testing proved that the african-american father was the biological father!. This works the other way around too!. for example, my family is Irish and German (basically as pale as you can get), and I came out olive skinned and hair that is dark brown almost black!. Genealogical research found that way back I have one woman who was Native American in my direct ancestry!. It's really all genetics!

Hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Two Danes are not going to produce a Zulu, but the child may favor one parent more than another!. Most of the mixed race children I know are blends!. No child of a black parent and a white one has ever come out spotted like a pinto pony, but some are darker than others!. If the child has Down's Syndrome, sadly, he/she may look a tad Asian!.

also, you have to specify which ethnicity; "Scot" is a different ethnicity from "English", for instance, Scots are stronger, smarter, better looking, more tolerant of cold air blowing on their private parts (They have to be, to wear their kilts in the winter), more likely to have red hair and a BS in engineering, but many people outside of the UK don't know that!. Mama may have been trifling with the caber tosser!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's unlikely, but there have been cases where two very white parents have a black baby!. Since human life began in Africa, all humans have "black" genes; it's just that they're usually supressed by more dominant genes!. And also, because of intermixing of races, any given person probably has virtually every "race" in his/her genes already!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

like they said its the genes!. im black my parents are black(my moms great great grandfather is irish but w/e they dont mention it alot) in if i had a child with a man blacker than a cloudy midnight sky ther is a small chance but a chance non the less that my son could be whiter than a bleached opal with hair as red as the tuscan sunsetWww@QuestionHome@Com

It's not only possible it's the reason there are so many races/ethnicities in the world today!. I once read a book named "Race and Biology" in which the writer discussed the phenomenon of genetic mutations!. We all came from common ancestry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes i thin it is possible

I have a neighbor who is both asian, and they have 4 kids!.
1 of the three look asian and the second oldest looks Spanish, the others looks white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not impossible!. It is according to what genes both parents carry, including recessive genes that will not show up in the parents themselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

[or the mail man!?!.!.!.

it was an on going joke when I was little, because my sister had blonde curly hair and everyone else had dark straight brown hair!. Sometimes a gene skips generation or two!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
