Question: Family Tree Help!?!?!?!?

I want to find my family tree, but I can't find anything because my family has different last names!. My name is Maira Jamil (surname is Jamil)!. Can you please help me!? I want to find my family history((tree)!? also, if you need to know my Grandpa's name is Mohammed Benares(surname is Benares!. Help ME! PLZ!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Did or does your Grandpa Mohammed live in England!?!? I found several entries like these from British phone books on ancestry!.com (from mid-1960's on forward):

Name: M Benares
Residence: 1975 - Bradford, York

But, when I put in his full name, there were "0 results"!. If he doesn't live in England, do you know where he lived, and approximate birthdate/birth location!?!? Or, even, his parents' names!?!? Did he go by another name maybe--like a nickname!?!? What are some other last names in your family!? Maybe we could find him this way!. Several times I've found the parents after looking up the children's names or the spouse's name/maiden name if a woman!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
