I know he was born in 1824 in Massachusetts and his real middle initial was F but, some sources get it wrong!. He married Lucy A!. Meader who was born in 1833 in NH!. I found them in the 1880 US census with all of their children listed with their adress at the time which is in Lynn, Essex, Mass!. I would like to find our more about his ancesters if that is possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dear John,

Building on the information discovered yesterday when we discussed Charles' wife, Lucy I have a little information for you!.

I was able to locate (who I believe to be) Charles in the 1850 U!.S!. Federal Census!. He is living in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts!. It appears that he was married before Lucy and had at least one child!.

A search in an Essex County, Massachusetts Marriage Index, I can find Charles' marriage to this woman, Agnes Nutall in 1847!. I would recommend ordering a copy of that marriage record as it might list his parents' names!. The easiest way to obtain a copy of this would be to hire a professional to do a record lookup in the Salt Lake City Family History Library!. Or, you could visit your local LDS Family History Center and order the film from Salt Lake!. Details are as follows:

Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1652-1880, Danvers (Massachusetts) Town Clerk, FHL Film #0758829

Further to that I was able to discover an index entry in a database that lists Charles Foster Waite, born 4 Feb 1825 in Danvers, Essex, Massachusetts to Peter Waite and Pamelia Wheeler!. The original source for this is:

Vital Records of Danvers, MA to the End of the Year 1849!. Salem, MA, USA: The Essex Institute, 1909!.

Of course, it would require further investigation and analysis to determine whether or not this is the right man!.

I would start by learning more about Peter and Pamelia, possibly locating a will (if it exists) for Peter to see if it mentions any of Charles' children!. You could then compare this list to the list of known children for your Charles' and Lucy!.

Good luck to you!
