Question: I want to change my last name to my mothers last name!.!?

I am 24 and my father and I have never been close!. As I have gotten older we have spoke less and less!. What do I need to do in order to change my last name to my moms!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure what you have to do in the US but I live in Australia and all I had to do was register a name change with the register of births, deaths and marriages, fill out a form, pay $80 and six weeks later I had my mothers maiden name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
