In other words!.!. your request is so broad and generic, that you won't get good results!. If you know you are looking for the ancestry of John Washburn, who died in Virginia in 1872, you will normally get a ton of relevant 'hits'!. Genealogy is about ancestors!.!.!. not surnames!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You cannot take as absolute fact everything you see in family trees on ANY website, free or paid!. The information is subscriber submitted and mostly not documented!. You might see different information on the same people from different subscribers!. Then you will see frequently the same information from different subscribers on the same people, but that is no guarantee at all it is correct!. A lot of people copy without verifying!. You might not find any of your family trees!. You might just find some of your family lines but it must be verified!. The only way a family tree is online is if some family member researched it and put it online, and it should be verified!. Just don't expect to put in a name and up pops your family tree!. also living people will not be on those trees!. It is considered an invasion of privacy and can lead to identity theft!. If you really want to research your family history, then there are lots of good people on this board that can give you some great tips and advice!. It is a matter of starting with yourself and working back one generation at a time!. also realize that not everyone with the same surname are related or shares ancestors!. Surnames were not take until the last melennium!. When they were it was possible legitimate sons of the same man could each have a different surname!.
