You're pretty harsh on "redundant" answers, because people may be trying to help you, but you then block them!. So don't take this as a redundant answer, because although I may not know the answer, I will try to help!.

I haven't ever heard of having violet eyes, but now you mention it, it sounds nice, but still, I've never seen it!. You're right that a lot of European folk have light colour eyes!. I am a mix of English, Belgian, Swiss, French and Dutch, and I have grey/blue eyes!. But they've already published research on this, saying that those with blue eyes were probably all descended from the same ONE ancestor, millions of years ago!. That would also mean that any Hispanic person with blue eyes would also be descended from that same person!. Of course that's one ancestor of plenty, so the blue eyes and paler skin gets diluted!.

I also lived in Spain for a while, and I honestly don't understand how people can say that Spaniards are typically blonde and blue-eyed!. 90% of the Spaniards I came across were olive-skinned, dark haired, and brown/black eyed!.

Now, I know Spaniards aren't necessarily the same as Latinos, I'm thinking they have the same skin, eye and hair colours, so perhaps carry similar genes!. I've seen Spaniards with blue eyes, green eyes and most commonly brown eyes, but never violet!.

It's obviously POSSIBLE for Latinos to have violet eyes, because your friend does, although is she sure she has full Latino ancestry!? I would say it's in the 0-5% range!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

gotta remember= Hispanic/Latino ppl from Mexico and south America were mixes from Spanish and native American!.
Spanish have blond hair and blue eyes (or any combination)
native Americans were brown had and brown eyes!.
so -back to your question--- the answer is YES- depending on how much Spanish blood is in them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
