You are getting a lot of misleading information!. The chart in the prior reply is persons in England, not the same person at all!
I find ONE Ethel Featherstone living in NJ in the 1930 census, who was born in 1923!. It is very important that you obtain documentation such as her death certificate, to insure that this is the right one!.!. parents here are shown as Samuel and Blanche!. Ethel is not their birth daughter, but all in the home are listed as *****!.
Your prior question concerning Blackfoot and Pennsylvania is contrary to logic, or usual genealogy standards!. The process is to look for a record of your person WITHOUT PRECONCEPTIONS!. You MUST find a recent record of your person, and document that completely!. Then move back to the previous generation!. The Blackfoot tribe is from the Western states ie Montana, South Dakota, etc, and especially in the late 1800s, there is almost no chance that they would have moved to an Eastern urban area!.
In your situation, the only reliable way is finding Ethel and her parents!. You cannot "jump" back to her grandmother, without that solid foundation first!. If this is your Ethel in the census, they may have known her birth parents, since it is listed that both her parents were born in New York!.
If you would like a copy of that census image, send me a note through my profile!. Yahoos filter seems to block out the race designation, assuming it is a racial slur!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If this is her birthdate and year of death (23 December 1920 - 1988), then here is a link to that whole family tree!. And Jane Coe would have been one of her great grandmothers!.
