Question: What does Annastasia mean!?
Does this spelling have any special meaning!? My Grandmother chose the name, But she died when I was very young, My middle name is Lou, And that is all my mother side of the family cals me, Many people just cal me Anna for short!. Im not sure what it means, It said on some website it meant ressurection!.

however back in russia there was a famous princess called your name, she was supposedly executed with the rest of her family in the russian revolution, although there is a rumor still today that she escaped!.
Its a real intresting story, your lucky, i think your grandmother named you after her,

The traditional spelling is Anastasia and as the previous answer said the most famous was the Grand Duchess Anastasia, youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II!.

Alas, she didn't survive the firing squad and died along with the rest of her family!. The woman who claimed to be her for many years (Anna Anderson) was actually a Polish Factory Worker!.

The skeletons of the Romanov family were found a few years ago (with two missing - most likely Tsarvitch Alexei and Grand Duchess Maria - but I seem to remember reading that they had recently found those bodies too)!.
