Barbados has the records locked up in a secure location and does not allow public viewing. In the 1980's they allowed Joann McRee Sanders to transcribe the lot and they were published in six volumes by Genealogical Publishing Company of Baltimore MD, USA. If you can find a copy of Family Tree Maker CD # 22 on Ebay snap it up, it has all six volumes. I don't know if ancestry.com still sells the CD-ROM versions of the data.

I would try searching the Internet for that question, if that fails, try an encyclopedia.
