And from what material would expect this to be written? This is not some cheap film that leaves plot lines and characters hanging, with the express intention of keeping the Money Machine pumping out dollars. How about Shakespeare writing a "Romeo and Juliet - the Sequel"? Everybody wakes up, and it turns into something akin to Meet the Parents.

I seriously doubt that that will ever happen. Sweeny Todd was a wonderful musical from back in the day and though the movie was almost as good as the musical, to make a sequel would just ruin it completely. My guess is that no they will not make a Sweeny Todd 2.

Hmm, I doubt that.

Those type of movies rarely get sequels for reasons I don't know.
