Burfie is an enigma. But I was able to follow the family through brother Clee (it's such an unusual name that everyone else filters out). Glen was born in Soldier's Grove, Crawford Co, Wisconsin. His parents were Lorenzo (also calle Renso) and Minnie. Lorenzo was born about 1851 in Ohio and Minnie was born about 1869 in Wisconsin. They were married about 1888. This is from both the federal censuses and the 1905 State of Wisconsin Census done on 1 Jun 1905.

From his father's age (he was 40 when Clee was born), it's pretty probable that he was married before.

I possibly have him in the 1870 census of Dekorra, Columbia Co, Wisconsin as the son of Lowell D and Mary E Winn. I've done a little searching to verify it's truly him, but without his marriage license it will be hard.
