What was the connection between Family Matters & Full House?

Did they use the same set? Full House was set in San Francisco and Family Matters in Chicago (I think), but the house floorplans appeared to be the same.

A perfect spin-off from "Perfect Strangers", "Family Matters" (which I NEVER missed, by the way) aired between 1989 - 1998. It also made "Did I do thaaaaat?" a household phrase. LOL
"Full House" aired between 1987 - 1995, basically the same time frame. In my opinion, both shows featured a nerdy character--Urkel on "Family Matters" and the father Danny Tanner on "Full House."
Both shows, however, showed that if families work together, no problem is too big to solve.
