Position:Home>Genealogy> Help with WW2 Research on 7th BN The Buff & 11th Royal Tank Regiment?

Question:Hi, I'm researching info on my Granddad who served during WW2. He was in the REME and we know he was attached to 7th BN The Buffs and 11th Royal Tank Regiment.

Can anyone reccomend any good websites to gain further knowledge of what these regiments done during WW2

Any help would really be appreciated.

Many of the Regiments have Regimental Museums; REME has one, at Arborfield; you might like to visit.
My uncles were in the Gloucestershire Regiment and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Museum in Gloucester Docks and looking through old documents which had details of men who had served and died.

Google the names and you will get some detail.
