Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Besides the combination of Ka and lisha??

Kalisha Noble, Kind Princess BNA Original
From Kala, meaning Princess Hawaiian
From Alisha, meaning Noble, Kind Old English

I have a niece by the same name and I am unable to find the origins of it.

Kalisha appears to be an American first name. There a a few immigrants with this as a surname. They originated in Poland and Bohemia. Possibly, someone thought this sounded like a nice girls name for their daughter. Either as a first or last name, it is pretty rare.

Was your name 'created' by your parents? If not, do you happen to know its history or your family history?
Many names have gotten "anglicized" over time to "fit in" with our American spellings.
There is a possibility that it could be a variation of a name that was French, or Gaelic, etc, and then the pronunciation could have also changed over time.

For example, in Gaelic, there is a name, "Caileigh".
It is often Anglicized into the name 'Kayleigh' or other variations.
Actually this name is from the gaelic 'Ceilidh' meaning a folk dance indigenous to Scotland.

One definition:
The name Caileigh is a baby girl name. The meaning of the name Caileigh is: Slender. Variant of Caley or Cailley: (French) 'from the forest.

The addition of "isha" could be a type of form added to names as a familiar, or loved one. They are different in all sorts of languages.
