It is possible in the USA, but more work than you are likely to want to do. You'd have to go through old city directories to see who lived there, then look for them by name in death records, then look up their obituaries to see if it said they died "at home" or "in a local hospital".

You might not find them, their obituary might omit that detail and almost all of the records would be on paper, not on-line.

People ask similar questions about once a week here. They feel a presence and wonder if their house has a ghost.

I don't know of any such resource, I don't think one like that would be possible. If the house is fairly old you can be almost certain that someone has died in it, but that should not be a worry !

better to search land titles, maybe in city archives, or to see what land the house was built on, on burial grounds? Aboriginal lands? If you know the names tho, you could search the obituaries, or articles about murders etc. Are you concerned the house might be haunted. A lot of old people die at home but it doesn't mean anything except perhaps they lived a long (possibly happy) life.

Another possibility occurs to me. Ask a homicide cop "Did anyone die at this address?"
