Question:I am trying to track previous residents in my apartment. Family History?
How would I find a history (Names, current address) of people who lived in my apartment. I have tried white pages to no avail.

If you're in a major city, there may be a Polk's Directory, and if your local library is big enough, they may have them for several years past. You can check your address for previous years and make a list that way.

Polk's website may be helpful, but they'll probably charge you for the info. Your library's a better bet.

It would help if you said where in the world you are located.

In some places you can order the title of a property, which will show you who owned it in the past but not necessarily who lived there.

If you are in the US and you are responsible for the gas, water, electric, or sewer bill, you may be able to contact these agencies for past residents.
Other than that, contacting the landlord(s) for a list is probably your only option.

If you live in an apartment, couldn't you just ask the property manager or rental agent?

By the way, locating a list of who all has lived in your apartment is not a genealogy / family tree question. It really has nothing to do with genealogy.

I also live in Ohio, and if you ask the landlord (he may or may not tell you, its all to his discretion) also if you call the gas/water/electric companies, they may be able to tell you
