Position:Home>Genealogy> Brickfield Labourer?Question:I have recently been look up my ancestors and have found that my great great grandfather James Godward at the tender age of 18 was a Brickfield Labourer but I'm not sure what that is. I have Wikipedia/googled it and apart from telling me that other people where one (and from all round the country, because I thought it might have been a company) it's not told me what one was exactly. Any body got any thoughts on the subject?
