Does anyone know Ronnie Warren?

Question:My mother in law recently found out that Ronnie Warren of Indiana may be her father. He would be in his 70's. He has a daughter named Rae Anne. My mother in law was duped into believing that another man was her father. Her mother had an affair. My mother in law is 46 now and would really like to find him. He may have been in the military and lived in California. Not sure though. I have searched on the internet and the are tons of Ronnie Warrens out there. I would not even know where to start looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Her mother states that she does not have that much information. I find that hard to believe. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated...

no, I don't think so. I know a Ronald Warren, he's my 70 year old neighbor here in Indiana where I live..but I don't know any Ronnie

First of all, it is good that you have your e-mail enabled so that if someone does find a possibility, they can send it to you privately. Being that we don't know if Ronnie is deceased or not, we have to treat his information as if he is still living unless we can prove he is dead. It is against a genealogists code of ethics to post information on living people.

With that said, there are a LOT of Ronnie Warrens out there. Is Ronnie his given name or is it short for Ronald? Also, what part of Indiana are we talking about? Do you know if he is still alive? Do you know what branch of service he was in? Do you know of any siblings that he may have had? Any additional information you could provide would help us to narrow your search. Remember, no piece of information is insignificant when you are dealing with genealogy.
