Levoy line?

Question:French-Canadian genealogists, please help me find this man Joseph Levoy or his wife's father Augustus Young. I found some in Eastern Canada land records, but no luck in church records and no luck in US. Levoy seemed to have been in US as he had 5 kids in New England, but find no records of his existence. He married a Margaret Young, she immigrated in 1839 at age 15 from Canada. Don't know if she married the guy or any idea where.

Do you have any kind of reference on him being born in Quebec? It would help if we could get a grasp on the province of his birth. PRDH also only takes us up to 1799 (they also have the 1851 census, but it sounds like he's in the US by then)? One other thing that might help us...what were the names of his two oldest sons and two oldest daughters? 95% of the time, those are the names of the grandparents.
