That is a tough one. The informant on her death certificate was Charles E Simis and he didn't know the name of her parents when he gave the information on her death certificate.

Her sons death certificate lists her maiden name as Elliott. Mt Pleasant, Iowa is located in Henry County Iowa.

These censuses lead me to believe that Tina might have been born in either Lucas or Warren County, instead of Henry County, Iowa..the county that Mt. Pleasant is in. Lucas County might also be a good place to look for a marriage record for Isaac and Annie.

The U.S. Census records are a great place to start, it'll show their names, where they lived, what jobs they had, etc.

You can check with the Mormons, they have records on everyone. I am not Mormon, however, I did go to the Mormon temple in Mesa Arizona to look up information on my family. They had the information I was seeking.

1900 census of Center, Henry County, Iowa has a Tina M. Elliott born September 1873, parents Isaac M. and Annie M. Isaac is shown as born in Illinois, Annie is shown as born in Pennsylvania. 2 other children Carl M. born abt 1881 in Iowa and Blanch K. born abt 1883 in Iowa. Place of birth of Isaac's parents were father ? mother Ohio,
place of birth of Annie's parents, Vermont for both.

Her death certificate from Arizona will probably give both of their names including her mother's maiden name and their places of birth.

I think I may have found Tina for you, I believe her mum and dad to be Annie and Isaac, he was noted as being an agent for the Rail Road, have a look, tell me if you think I have the right people.

You will note that Tina was spelt "Tyna", but I am almost certain this is your girl.
