Position:Home>Genealogy> How do i find out about a relative that died at d-day?

Question:Here are all of the cemetaries of all the soldiers buried in Normandy after D-day. You don't mention his nationality, so I give you all of them.

If he was an American, here's a link to the list of all the dead who are buried in a military cemetary. http://www.abmc.gov/wardead/index.php

Once you figure out their name and country, contact the National Archives for that country and request a copy of his military service records. If he was an American, here's the website where you start: http://www.archives.gov/st-louis/militar...

My first thought is to try the web sites of war memorials or war cemetaries...like Arlington (that's the only one that comes to mind)...good luck.
