Bridget!!because that is my name

Ava...Bridget...kinda claire

Confirmation names should be picked based on your admiration and respect for the saint involved not based on how you like their name.

oh, what pretty names.
i love Claire and Ava... and Bridget. and Anastasia..
haha, theyre all such prettiful names.
why not goggle the actual saints and find out about them?
then it will probably be easier to decide.

Study them and have some
special connection with them
don't just pick it for the name
see what they are the saint of

I'm a girl and I have St.Nick the saint of Children
I was born on his day and I'm polish and he is a very
important figure for us and I feel I'm a kid at heart and
I love kids That is why I picked him

here is a link to names of saints.....

The names you listed, I don't believe are saints' names....

I hope this helps you!

I'm not sure Anastasia is a Catholic saint, but she is an Orthodox saint. I'm just not sure your bishop would go for that one.

Claire is a very beloved saint, as are Bridget and Cecelia. You could also be a little avant garde and use "Madonna".

Maybe the best saint would be your saint...the one whose "day" you were born on. One of my kids was born on St. Felix day and used Felicity. The priest actually praised her for her creative use of tradition.

Cecilia, patron saint of music.

My favorite is Angeline, as angel for short sounds like you. I hope you feel 'The Holy Spirit" enter your soul and you live a long life loving the "Holy Trinity"

Anastasia..lol, I like that name.

My father chose Sebastian, because it made his initials spell WASH, and he had always wanted his initials to spell a word.
If that idea does not turn you on, from the list of saints' names you provide Anastasia is the nicest, followed by Claire. But I'm no hagiographer, and it may be you might want to examine the lives of the saints themselves before picking.

Is your birthday any one of these saint's feast days?

Ava--April 29

Cecilia--Nov 22; patron saint of music http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Cecil...

Bridget (of Kildare)--Feb 1, traditional first day of spring in Ireland; patron saint of Ireland, babies, poets, scholars, etc.

Claire (of Assisi)--Aug 11 (alternate feast days: Aug 12, Sep 23, Oct 3); patron saint of clairvoyance, television, telephones, etc.; founded Order of Poor Ladies; one of the first followers of St. Francis of Assisi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/saint_Clare

Anastasia--Dec. 25 http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/01453a.h...

Once you have done some research, perhaps you can choice a saint that has some personal meaning for you.
