Question:Why do so many music questions end up in the genealogy category? Is there another word it is being confused with? Could it be a Yahoo technical issue?

If a person has asked a question from the Home Screen of Yahoo Q & A, the Yahoo system selects the category. Certain words put it into genealogy, like those people asking about a grandfather clock, or the word " names." I saw a question recently that had the word "tribe" in it and it had nothing to do with genealogy.

Now, a person can change the category but if they are new they might not notice that.
If you probe on the Avatar of the question, and you look at the number of questions and answers they have, you will find most are very new. Sometimes, it is the only question they have asked.

All of our questions fall on the Home Screen. Now by the time we see it, it might be on page 20 of the Home Screen. That is why we get a lot of silly answers. There are kids on their computers having fun.

well i am sorry...
if you opened the question you would find out that it has everything to do with genealogy. So take a look

say what???
I have been around here almost every day for a year.. the only "music question" I have seen is related to family history for Mozart.
wait, there was one about a Japanese band a few days back.
I really don't know what the issue is. Miscategorized questions may mean a problem for the poster. There really is no harm to anyone else.. if it even happens.

There have been a ton of questions on Taylor Swift. What bothers me are all of the incomplete questions. It really makes me wonder if our youths are getting an adequate education.
