Are you of European background? By the fact that your first name is 'Kaitlyn,' I'm assuming you are. I'm just curious as to why your parents gave you no middle name? I don't think I've ever met anyone of European extraction who didn't have a middle name, unless they were Spanish.

Anyway, I think you should pick a name that has meaning for you. Don't just pick something random, make it significant. Yes, Marie is nice but it's so overdone. I probably know a dozen girls personally with that middle name. But that's just my 2 cents.

Here's a thought. Kaitlyn is an Irish diminuitive form of Katherine, meaning "little Katherine." So if you happen to be Irish, maybe you'd like to pick a middle name that is also Irish, or a middle name that is whatever background you happen to be. It's also popular to give a daughter her mother's name as a middle name. Or you could choose a name of someone whom you admire, or a name whose meaning appeals to you, like something religious if you are into that, or a virtue that you believe in. For example, Sophia/Sophie means "wisdom." The possibilities are endless.

Good luck!!

I know of several women who were not given a middle name on purpose. The intent was that since they normally take the husband's surname at marriage, they could then use their maiden name to be a middle name.
I think something special would be to find the names of one of your grandmothers/ gr grandmothers, and pick one of those.
