For your lost family search, you may opt to do the following:
-Reverse Telephone Method (requires phone number of lost family) -or-
-White Pages Listing Search (there are a lot of websites who does have a service like this, ex. lycos.com and click people search)

There are a lot of other types of people search on the net but I don't know where to start on your query since it's not that specific. I'll be here to help you out. I also found my family relatives on the net and we're not seeing each other for almost fifteen years until I found out their address as well as their email address using reverse phone search. I hope my info can help.

Try Switchboard. :)

i try judici.com.. if they get a traffic ticket or anything that has to go thru the courts they will have an addy on there.

These are the two best sites: http://www.melissadata.com/cgi-bin/peopl...
http://www.whitepages.com

All of the others get annoying...and they're running off these two databases.

The other suggestion is to check out Cook, DuPage, Will and Lake county property records. All of them are available online at the county websites. In addition, the classifieds at the Chicago Tribune.com let you pull up property transfers (both purchases and sales) in the Chicagoland area.
