I found two Daniel Robeson with wife Laura in the census from 1900 - 1930. Neither fit; one in NC was 10 years too old, one in Ohio 10 years too young. Sorry. I used Soundex and any state, not just Montana.

There were no Daniel/Lora, Monroe/Laura or Monroe/Lora combinations.

This was the only Robeson/Robison family in Montana in 1900 that came anywhere close to your description.

Daniel Robison 47
Cecilia Robison 46
Roby Roy Robison 18
Loyal L Robison 13
Ethel May Robison 8
Julius Uhl 40

Do you know either Daniel's birth year or Jessie mae's birth year?

I found a Daniel M. Robeson in 1910 census of Montana. He has a daughter Jessie M. Robeson who was 17 in 1910. His wife is Hattie M. The reason I made a note of this is that on the census it indicates that Daniel M. and Hattie had only been married 6 years. It could be that Laura E. Robeson died when Jessie was a baby or little girl and her dad, Daniel, remarried.
