Roma is Italian in origin, meaning your family probably originated from Rome since it literally means "of Rome."

You can't really trace Jewish ancestry by your last name - sorry to tell ya. The third most common name among Jews in the US is actually Miller. The only last names that are specifically Jewish are Cohen, Levy and Israel.

A name does not necessarily have any religion. For example, the name Caldwell might be Catholic or Baptist.
