I'm more the Family Dollar type. But one of my kids brought home a home water purifying kit recently...nothing but a hard plastic bottle, charcoal filter, and bleach tablets. Hard to believe someone thought to package that contraption. Harder still to believe my kids thought it was worth buying. We've already got a mega-water filtration system in the house...one that takes out the chlorine, not one that adds more. But I guess it might help if they ever get caught out in the wilderness and need to make their own drinking water.
