I need to order a birth certificate from california,How do i go about that?

go to the social security office if there is one where you live....

Contact the Health Department of San Jauquin County. You can call them first to check to see what fee they charge for a copy and send that along with the request.
Please include the name of the person on the birth certificate, date of birth if known, if not at least a year, who the parents were if known, and where (what city or town) they were born. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope and a money order for the copying fee.
If they do not have it, check with the local Historical Society or the California Historical Society. You can also check with the California State Archives. Most historical societies have a webpage and you can email them. Many will offer suggestions on where else to look if they do not have what you are looking for.
