There are no magic sites with all of the marriage records in the world, or even in the UK or USA or Canada. There are people finder sites. If she married a year ago, she may still be on some of them under her maiden name. If she married 50 years ago, she won't be.

If you know where she went to high school, and what year she graduated, and her high school class has a reunion committee, you can write to the chair. He/she will (usually) be happy to forward a message to her. Our class has a committee. We have about 175 names and addresses out of 550 classmates, so your chances, assuming we are average, are one out of three.

The University alumni association I belong to will forward messages. I think most will. If she went to college AND joined the alumni association, you could try that route. You send them a post card with a stamp on it and a blank address. They forward it if they have her current one.

If her parents are still alive, you might be able to find them in a web-based phone book.

Are you in the UK, you might have some luck with www.friendsreunited .co.uk or if you are in the states you could try www.zabasearch.com
Hope this helps.
