Well, my ancestors going back a few generations come from Germany, Ireland, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, France, Syria as well as Native America (Mohawk tribe).

As to physical features, most people looking at me with my red hair, green eyes and freckles, guess about the Irish part of my heritage...which is actually kinda funny because the Irish part of the family are actually dark!

Yes, German and Polish on my moms side and amd Irish and English on my dads. I look VERY German, lol.

I have Cherokee, English, Irish, German, Scottish, and French ancestry. I know that I inherited my dark hair and eyes, olive complexion, and high cheekbones from my Cherokee ancestors, but I also have some Caucasian features. A woman once told me that I looked like her daughter-in-law, who was from the German-speaking part of Switzerland, so I guess I've inherited some of my features from my German ancestors, as well.

England, Czechloslovakia, France and Italy

I am from English decent ( Mayflower descendant)
yes I can see the similarities to past generations with coloring, structure

irish sicilian and french canadian.
people can usually tell im Sicilian and French Canadian....im dark haired so ppl usually dont guess irish, although the reason Irish are red haired is from the vikings....so i hear.

some other interesting guesses people give me are romanian and albanian, ha i like the romanian guesses, makes feel mysterious.

Yeah, I'm Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish, Armenian, Some Siberian tribe, and Mongolian.
According to my mom, I look more Hungarian than anything that I actually am,
but my dad and sister have the typical 'jew' nose.

Yes, I am Puerto Rican, German, Irish, French, Cherokee, and Spanish.

I have medium kinda skin. The Irish made me light but then the Puerto Rican let me be darker. I got hazel eyes from my Spanish and French part of the family. My hair is naturally light brown but that's probaly a combo from all of them. I kinda look German, but I don't know what "feature" exactly makes me.

Grandmother was Scottish descent, grandfather was Irish descent. I have red hair as does my dad. His mom's was a dark red. But most of my ancestors on both sides were either black or almost white/blonde hair.

Oddly enough though almost all had a medium complexion & extremely thick hair. The men had coarse moustaches. We all have high cheek bones & forehead & thick eyebrows. I can usually look at a pic & see the family resemblance. It's kinda cool.

I never understood why I loved my hubby's large square hands. They always soothe me when he strokes my face and I feel better. Then I got a pic of my granny when she was young & to my surprise as tiny as she was her hands were almost caricature portions large. In the pics took when I was little her hands were always hidden so I presume they embarassed her. But evidently somewhere in my sub concious I remembered the comfort of those hands. Weird, but kinda neat too.

Oddly enough though my mom is Welsh & Indian, black hair for several generations on both her sides with fair coloring & dark brown eyes. My dad is Irish with med. complexion, red hair & blue eyes. I look like him except I have hazel eyes. But his ggrandmother was French. Yet in a black & white pic mom & I look just alike at 21. So go figure.

These days am in the process of trying to trace my ancestors..currently only know to about 3-4 generations and all English thus far..

My family line on my fathers side goes back into Cornwall, I am am UK based, This last summer I met up with some distant relatives in Australia, we have two photographs, My father taken in Cardiff circa 1950 and one taken on Australia in 1928, they look like brothers, my line moved into South Wales in about 1870 and there line entered Australia about 1856, so I would say YES.

at a recent family reunion, we learned that along with our french heritage we are also metis indian. this may explain some physical features like skin tone etc.

Iraq, Turkey and israel (The ancient jewish one)

All from India. and we all have brown eyes, brown/black/white hair.

Yes. On my paternal side my grandparents are from Sweden. My grandfather was very tall, very muscular and quiet. On my paternal side my grandparents were from England. Average height, clannish and consumers of mass amounts of alcohol. My features are leaning towards the English side except for my bulk and blond hair (when I had hair).
