I can suggest 2 places-
www.rootsweb.com has family files (submitted by researchers, cannot vouch for accuracy). There are several Fannie Fortunes. Which, if any, is yours?
Also.. www.genforum.com has surname boards for almost all surnames. Not everyone with any surname is going to be related... if you use the search box, you can filter for messages with your key words (ie husband's surname, or county location).

It would be good if you gave a location as I know someone named Fortune. We don't give information on living people on this board but if you allow for email we can.
