Trying to find my father?

I have a name, dob, and last known county he was in. I don't want to try any usa search site, but do any of you know how i can get phone number if i know the county he is in, not city.

lets you specify "nearby". Find the county seat of the county he is in, use it as the city and check "Include surrounding area".

If the county he is in is San Bernadino, California, you'll have to use Mapquest to look at it, and try 6 or 8 cities, as SB county is 300 miles across. If the county is one of those tiny ones in Texas or Iowa, and he has a listed phone number, you should be able to find him in one search, maybe.

Lots of people swear by zabasearch.com, too. lol

Good luck in finding him ... I hope his record isn't for anything bad. Um, why would you not want to try any USA search site (assuming you are not talking about the sleaze-ball "find anyone" pay out the nose sites)?? It would be no different that manually going through phone books (sometimes available in libraries) for the county (and all cities in that county) but a lot more efficient.

If his name is common, it could be difficult if not impossible to find him without such a search. But given that you now know he has a criminal record, unless sealed by the court which doesn't happen that often, the records of the proceedings and conviction, and even prison information is public records. Though you might have to file a Freedom of Information Request. Accessing that information from the county court might help you. Hi first you need to establish that he is in fact who you are looking for so I would do a Mellissa data.com search first it will give you a list of possible relatives and /or roomates.. next I would search with Zaba.. After all of that I would go to the white pages.com and enter your info and wala you should be able to find him that way... Good luck
