Question:

Where do I find an application for Cherokee Nation?

I'm in Ohio. Where do I find an application, web-site, any other info etc. for obtaining a certification card and/or benefits for having Cherokee blood?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: First of all do you have an ancestor on the Dawes Roll? If not, then don't waste your time. You will get no where. You have to prove without a shadow of a doubt to the Tribal office that you are entitled. So far I have found very few that can do that unless you live on the reservation and they know you.

This is the registration website. Don't hold your breath tho. I am of Cherokee blood and so is my ex husband but neither of our ancestors appear on the Dawes Roll so they will not acknowledge us.
