Question:

D.N.A Test?

Has anyone had their D.N.A tested and what did you find out from the results?

Was their any suprises.

I am Welsh and there is evidence we were the original Britains before the Saxons invaded in the 5th century and before the Romans arrived in the 1st century. I know I have welsh blood that dates back nearly a 1000 years. So I am thinking of having my DNA tested as a result of a recent experiment that proved that the DNA of native Welshman was different from that of Englishmen who had more in common with peoples from Northern Europe.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I used FamilyTreeDNA.com to search for paternal matches in my family tree. I was able to trace my paternal line back to about 1792. But I did not find any links to other families with the same last name. This site will also place you into a large group.

Not sure if you will have more luck. The testing and comparison is dependent on others that match your DNA also being tested.
